The hotel rooms haven't seen an upgrade in decades. cleanliness is a minor improvement. The lighting along the trail is lacking, making nighttime walks quite a challenge!!! The quality of food served leaves much to be desired.

The thermal pools offered a fantastic variety of temperatures and were clean and well-maintained, making for a lovely relaxing experience. However, the accommodation could use some renovations, as our room had issues such as old appliances and noise disturbances. Overall, it's great for families looking for a casual escape, but some improvements to the facilities would enhance the experience.

Woke up to every toss and turn.

The grilled fish was an absolute delight, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection! We had it at the on-site restaurant, which was another win with its stunning garden views. Plus, the thermal pools were a wonderful escape, offering a beautiful walk through the jungle to get there.

The grounds are fine-like paradise! We had the pools to ourselves during the rainy season. The rustic hot springs were perfect, and I loved the beautiful walk to get there. The restaurant had excellent food, and the staff was super nice. Don't miss the pineapple Piña Coladas at the swim-up bar! 🍹

The gardens at Termales Del Bosque are absolutely stunning. The casual paths filled with tropical plants felt like paradise. I loved wandering through them on my way to the thermal pools, which offered a delightful range of temperatures. The rustic feel of the hot springs added to the charm, creating a cozy atmosphere. Staff members were very accommodating, even driving us to the parking lot near the springs when we had difficulty walking. Our room had its issues. the mattresses were a bit thin, and the key to the room was frustratingly hard to open. Wi-Fi was poor in the rooms, so using it effectively required going to the restaurant where it was better. Breakfast choices were limited to the traditional Costa Rican fare, which may not suit everyone, especially vegetarians. Despite these drawbacks, the experience felt authentic, especially with the fewer crowds during the rainy season, allowing us to enjoy the pools almost alone.

the water level in the hot springs was a bit low. but the surroundings were stunning and the variety of pool temperatures kept it fun. Wi-Fi was solid and the clean air conditioning worked well for me.

Beautiful environment, nice hot spring, where I enjoyed the lush gardens filled with tropical plants and a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival, making it a pleasant stay overall, especially with the close proximity to the nearest airport just 37 km away.
